As yoga teachers, we rarely get constructive feedback. Yet, it's SOOO necessary. Maybe because no one wants to hurt our feelings. Or because we don't have the right environment to receive constructive criticism. Regardless of the reason, I think it's vital that we make time to practice our teaching skills and to receive feedback. Otherwise, how else can we improve?
Join me in this 5-hour workshop to practice giving different hands-on adjustments on different bodies. As teachers, we aim to use our voice, hands, and body language to support our students in exploring their own practice. During our time together, you will learn to communicate more effectively with your hands in the following areas:
Sun Salutations and standing postures
Twisting, folding, and seated postures
Back bends and inverted postures
Savasana and supine postures
Dates: Saturday November 30, 2019 Time: 8:00a to 2:00p (1-hour break) Location: Kalo Mind & Body in Kailua, Hawaii Investment: $60 (limited spots available) This workshop is eligible for 5 hours of continuing education credit with Yoga Alliance.
